Students in International Trade and Transport and students in Logistics travelled on board of the vessel Ro-Pax to Genoa with the European Short Sea Shipping School. This training has taken place at the end of October - beginning of November.
Last Monday, 23rd October, students in 1rst and 2nd year of International Trade, morning shift, attended the act “Find Understanding through Dialogue” organized by the Independent Commission for Dialogue, Mediation and Conciliation.
On the 26 th of October we received the visits of Hassan Bachir Sbai, an Emergency Room physician in the General Hospital in Rabuni, of Abderrahman Abdelmonem, director of the Youth and Sports Bureau, and of Marta Aoiz, cooperating partner of the Federació ACAPS (Catalan Association of Friends of the Sahrawi people). These visitors have been received by the Board of the School.
Tuesday 31st October, students in first year of Shop Management visited the exhibition “Andy Warhol: Mechanical Art”, together with their teachers Judith Moretones and Florence Plumier.
This year two of our students in Guiding, first year, have cooperated with the 48h OPEN HOUSE BARCELONA. They have this to tell us:
“I am Judith Calandre, first year student in Guiding and Tourist Information. This year I have volunteered for the OPEN HOUSE 2017, acting as a Guide for the hotel Porta Fira (Toyo Ito) and as a doorlady at the Massia Can Colom. I have really enjoyed the experience!”
Eduardo Maturana: "I was one of the guides to the building “ Mas de Miquel”, located at l'Avinguda Diagonal 520, corner with Tusset 1. This Catalan “Noucentista” building, that also contains modernist elements, was erected between 1923 and 1929. The experience has been very gratifying as I have been able to work as a guide, which is my area of studies. I have guided groups of 25 to 45 visitors during 3 hours, divided in shifts of 15 minutes each, throughout the history, the architecture, the ornamentation, and the fun facts related to this magnificent work.

Advanced Vocational Training classes have started today. There were some new and, of course, old faces. We hope everybody will make the most of this school year and work on new projects eagerly. Attention everybody: the ball starts rolling!
The school year 2017-18 starts today for Middle Vocational Training students in the areas of Trade and Administration.

Throughout next month we will present different window shop displays designed by students in 2nd year of Sales and Shop Management. These displays are part of their final school project.
