2nd year students in Sales Management have joined the “Put on your Cap” campaign. This event started in many markets on November 24th and 25th.
Students in 1st year of Tourism have taken part in an itinerary that includes unique establishments of the center of Barcelona. Among others, they have visited the Fargas Chocolate Factory with and its centennial cocoa grinder.
As we have been doing in the past, this year the Institute Lluïsa Cura is cooperating with the Food Bank in order to ease the suffering of families in need. Students in the 2nd year of Marketing and Advertising have designed activities to encourage students, teachers and non- academic staff to participate in the collection of food for this year's campaign.
1st year students in Transport and Logistics visited the new showroom of Mecalux to study how the latest advances in automatic warehouses allow us to manage and optimize processes such as storage, preparation and delivery of goods.
Our programme coordinator, Maria Zabala, has taken part in the training course Erasmus + held in Santander on the 26th and 27th of October, 2017.
Students in 2nd year of Sales Management from our School ECAT Lluïsa Cura, together with the organization AFANOC (Association of Family and Friends of Oncological Children of Catalonia), kickstart the campaign "Put on your cap”.
Students in International Trade and Transport and students in Logistics travelled on board of the vessel Ro-Pax to Genoa with the European Short Sea Shipping School. This training has taken place at the end of October - beginning of November.
Last Monday, 23rd October, students in 1rst and 2nd year of International Trade, morning shift, attended the act “Find Understanding through Dialogue” organized by the Independent Commission for Dialogue, Mediation and Conciliation.
On the 26 th of October we received the visits of Hassan Bachir Sbai, an Emergency Room physician in the General Hospital in Rabuni, of Abderrahman Abdelmonem, director of the Youth and Sports Bureau, and of Marta Aoiz, cooperating partner of the Federació ACAPS (Catalan Association of Friends of the Sahrawi people). These visitors have been received by the Board of the School.
Tuesday 31st October, students in first year of Shop Management visited the exhibition “Andy Warhol: Mechanical Art”, together with their teachers Judith Moretones and Florence Plumier.
