Student in Guiding and Tourism Information cooperates with the 48h Open House

This year two of our students in Guiding, first year, have cooperated with the  48h OPEN HOUSE BARCELONA.  They have this to tell us:

“I am Judith Calandre, first year  student in Guiding and Tourist Information. This year I have volunteered for the OPEN HOUSE 2017,  acting as a Guide for the hotel Porta Fira (Toyo Ito) and as a doorlady at the Massia Can Colom. I have really enjoyed the experience!”

Eduardo Maturana: "I was  one of the guides to the building “ Mas de Miquel”, located at  l'Avinguda Diagonal 520, corner with Tusset 1.  This Catalan “Noucentista” building, that also contains  modernist elements,  was erected  between  1923 and  1929.  The experience has been very gratifying as I have been able to work as a guide, which is my area of studies.  I have guided groups of 25 to 45 visitors during 3 hours, divided in shifts of 15 minutes each, throughout the history, the architecture, the ornamentation, and the  fun facts related to this magnificent work.
